The Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) has extended its gratitude and felicitations to Nigerian workers, particularly those on the front lines battling to combat the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
In a message of solidarity with Nigerian workers on the occasion of this year’s Labour Day, the Managing Director of the Fund, Barrister Bayo Somefun, described the front line workers, of all professional all inclinations, as heroes and heroines.
“The Board, Management and Staff of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) felicitate with all Nigerian workers on the 2020 Workers’ Day Celebrations.
“We particularly acknowledge the dedication of frontline workers who are heroes/heroines in the war against the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.
“As we join millions of other Nigerians in solidarity with you, we re-affirm our commitment to the promotion of a safe work environment for all patriots working to build our great nation.
“We will surely overcome. Stay safe, stay alive”, he wrote on behalf of the NSITF.
