The Commissioner of Police (CP) in charge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Bala Ciroma, has ordered a full blown investigation to unravel the circumstance that led to the dismembering of a woman’s body.
It would be recalled that the body of a woman whose identity is still unknown was found packed in a refuse bag dumped along Area 3 Junction during a patrol by Police Operatives.
The CP has since condemned in totality the gruesome murder and dismembering of the woman by assailants.
In a statement signed by the Deputy Command Public Relatioins Officer of the FCT Command, ASP Mariam Yusuf, the Command therefore appealed to members of the public “to remain calm, be security conscious, take extra caution and report all suspicious movements within their environment to the Police on these emergency numbers: 08032003913, 08061581938, 07057337653 and 08028940883.”
