I greet you all with deep love, humility, and an unshakable resolve to serve.
Today, I officially declare to you—my family, my roots, my strength—that I have yielded to the call of our people. I have decided to contest for the position of Chairman of Etsako West Local Government Area.
I do not make this decision lightly. I make it with a heart full of conviction, not for self-glory, but for the progress of our land. I do so knowing that the greatness of any community lies not in the soil or the structure, but in the people who dwell there. Iyuku is blessed with great sons and daughters—now is the time to come together.
Yes, I know we all have different affiliations. I respect that. But this is not the season to focus on what divides us. This is the time to unite—for Iyuku, for our future, for the generations coming after us. Let us speak with one voice. Let us rally around this common cause.

I cannot walk this path alone. I need your voices. I need your influence. I need your strength. I need your faith.
Tell our leaders. Tell our networks. Tell anyone who can help carry this dream—because it is our dream, not just mine.
We all know the pain our people have endured over the years—neglect, underdevelopment, lack of representation. We’ve watched others take what could have been ours. Now is the time to rise. Now is the time to take our rightful place.
My belief is simple: leadership is about service, not power. It is about legacy, not noise. It is about touching lives, not occupying seats. That is what I am offering.
Iyuku, I am your son. I have never shied away from contributing to our growth, even when I had no title. Imagine what we can do together if I have the platform to serve.
I also invite you to stay connected through my support group—Path to Progress Coalition.
Please follow the group, engage with our updates, like, comment, and share every post. It helps to amplify our message, build momentum, and push our movement forward.
I appeal to you from the depth of my soul: stand with me. Speak for me. Fight for me. Move for me. Let’s go all out. Let’s make history together. Let’s put Iyuku on the map like never before.
May God Almighty bless this journey.
May our unity deliver the victory.
May God crown our efforts with success.
With all my heart,
Clement Igbafe Afekhena
