Armed thugs that launched coordinated attacks on #EndSARS protesters around Abuja have killed 3 protesters and burnt dozens of cars belonging to the protesters.
Mariam Yusuf, the spokesperson of the federal capital territory (FCT) police command, was not reachable to comment on the attack.
The protest is part of a nationwide #EndSARS movement which started as an opposition against the now-dissolved special anti-robbery squad (SARS) of the Nigeria Police Force.
The protesters are demanding better welfare and improved governance.
Although it had progressed peacefully in most parts of the country, some states are beginning to record violence as agitators are being attacked in places like Abuja, Lagos, Osun and Edo.

Around the same time, Anthony Onome, one of the protesters who was attacked during the weekend passed on at the hospital where he was being treated.
