Three more bodies have been recovered from the rubble at the scene of the gas explosion at Abule Ado, Amuwa Odofin local government area of Lagos state.
The bodies recovered by emergency management officials, were confirmed to be workers of Bethlehem Girls College, a Catholic school located within the area.
A couple and their two sons, Henrietta Alokha, an administrator at the school, were among those who lost their lives in the explosion which occurred on Sunday morning.
At least 60 students of the school also sustained various degrees of injuries and were taken to the Nigerian Navy Hospital in Satellite town for treatment.
On Sunday, Ibrahim Farinloye, acting coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in Lagos, had said 15 corpses, including a family of four, were recovered from the scene.
He added that over 50 buildings were damaged in the explosion.
