Stakeholders in Adamawa State have commended the member representing Michika/Madagali federal constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Zacharia Nyampa, for attracting development to his constituency.
In an interview with leaders of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Muslim Council and widows/vulnerable respectively in Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa state, the duo maintained that the lawmaker has demonstrated commitment, uncommon commitment in taking the plights of his constituents to the front burner.
Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, in the area, Rev. Bulus Peter, said the donation of an ambulance by the lawmaker to the constituency has gone a long way in alleviating the difficulty hitherto faced in rushing victims of insurgents attacks to health facilities.
According to him, the donation of palliatives to his constituents to assist the less privileged members of the constituency during the COVID-19 pandemic and regular interface with the people has further demonstrated that the federal lawmaker has his people at heart.
On his part, Secretary of the Muslim Council in Madagali LGA, Mallam Umar Isa reiterated that Hon. Nyampa has so far demonstrated competence in representation by voicing out for the people, urging him to initiate youth empowerment programmes as according to him, the measure will go a long way in reducing youth restiveness.
Also speaking leader of the orphans and physically challenged persons in the area, Mrs. Cecilia Sani collaborated that the legislator has shown capacity, maturity and strength in the discharge of his duties, even as the constituency was ravaged by Boko Haram where some of people are still living in Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs camps in some parts of the country.
