Police appeals for information on alleged D’banj party in Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Commissioner of Police (CP), Bala Ciroma, has appealed to the residents of the city to assist the Command with any useful information of the alleged party held by Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj in Abuja.

Ciroma, who also doubles as the Chairman, FCT COVID-19 Enforcement Team, made the appeal followed the video that is currently circulating alleging that the party was held and recorded in Abuja.

A statement signed by the Command Spokesman, Manzah Anjuguri, explained said: “It is pertinent to state that the venue and time the video was recorded has not been verified.

“Members of the public with privileged information are called upon to furnish the FCT COVID-19 Enforcement Team with details of the said event.

“The Team wishes to state that it would not tolerate any violation of the Quarantine Act and Covid-19 guidelines.”
