The Permanent Secretary in the Police Service Commission (PSC), Nebeolisa Anako, has vowed to improve the welfare of staff of the Commission.
He stated this when the Chairman and the executives of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Abuja branch, paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja, yesterday.
Anako who doubles as the Secretary to PSC is an Engineer.
He, however, challenged engineers in the country to continue to improve themselves and be ready to work and support the President Muhammadu-led administration both technically and administratively.
The Permanent Secretary further vowed to turn around the fortune of the PSC.
Earlier, the Chairman of the NSE, Abuja branch, Chief Chinasaokwu Okolie, said that the delegation was at the PSC to express their solidarity with one of their own who had been appointed a permanent secretary.
According to him, it was not easy for professionals, especially Engineers to rise to the position of Permanent Secretary.
