The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has elected new national officers to pilot its affairs.
The election, which took place on Thursday 27th August 2020, was conducted during the Association’s 6th Triennial National Delegates’ Conference held in Abuja.
The conference elected members of the Central Working Committee (CWC) among whom is Comrade Festus Osifo, of Total E&P, who was elected President.
Other officials elected include Comrades Matthew Duru and Kelechi Ugwulo who were elected Deputy President and National Industrial Relations Officer (IRO), respectively.
In his acceptance speech, shortly after the swearing-in ceremony, Comrade Osifo promised to make members’ welfare his primary focus.
