Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has joined other Nigerians in congratulating former Senate President, Senator David Mark on his 72nd birthday.
Governor Ortom described Senator Mark as a true patriot and leader who has over the years, made selfless contributions to the peace, unity and development of the country.
“On the auspicious occasion of the 72nd birthday anniversary of Senator David Mark, I join his family, friends and well-wishers to thank Almighty God for his life which has been a testimony of outstanding achievements anchored on humility and selflessness”, the Governor stated.
He said that the role Senator Mark has continued to play even after leaving office added immense value to Benue State and the country at large.
Governor Ortom wished the former Senate President many more fruitful years, according to a statement issued by his media secretary, Terver Akase.
