The immediate past Assistant Comptroller General (ACG) of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Zone ‘C’ Headquarters, PortHarcourt, Rivers State, Mr. Charles Orbih, has assumed duty as the ACG of Zone ‘A’ Headquarters, Ikeja, Lagos State.

According to a press release by Akanineyene E Edemina, Superintendent of Customs and Zonal Public Relations Officer (PRO), zone ‘A’ Headquarters, the Nigeria Customs Service Zone ‘A’ Headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos, welcomed ACG of Customs, Mr. Charles Orbih as its new Zonal Coordinator on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

ACG Orbih In his inaugural address, emphasized on his commitment to strengthening the zonal structure through teamwork, innovation, and stakeholders engagement.

He aligned his objectives with the policy thrust of Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, which focused on consolidation, collaboration, and innovation.

ACG Orbih is expected to bring his decades of experience to his new role, having served in various capacities, including Customs Area Comptroller for Imo/Abia Command and Zonal Coordinator for Zone ‘C’ Headquarters.

He has also attended numerous professional courses on leadership and management, both locally and globally.

ACG Orbih as the new Zonal Coordinator of Zone ‘A’ Headquarters, is expected to leverage on his expertise to enhance the zone’s performance and contribute to the Nigeria Customs Service’s overall success.
