In a congratulatory message signed by the CofS himself and made available to ExpressDay on Thursday in Iyuku-Uzairue, Audu said, “it is with immense joy and gratitude to God that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Sen. Monday Okpebholo, Executive Governor of Edo State, My Boss on your resounding victory at the Tribunal. Your victory is a testament to the unwavering support of the good people of Edo State, and it further solidifies your leadership and commitment to the progress and evelopment of our great state.
“This victory is not just a personal triumph, but a win for the people of Edo State, who have reposed their trust and confidence in your administration. It affirms that your leadership is grounded in integrity, transparency, and the collective will of the people.
“As you continue to lead with wisdom, vision, and determination, I assure you of my unwavering support and that of your entire Cabinet. Together, we will work towards realizing the promises of progress, prosperity, and unity for our state.

The Chief Press Secretary (CPS) Fred Itua notes that it’s been a frenzy of celebrations in the state capital, Benin City and other parts of Edo State since Governor Okpewholo was adjudged by the tribunal, the winner of the polls which took place on September 21, 2024.
