The Okpe Local Government Council Legislative Arm, Delta State, yesterday, felicitated with their Leader and Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Deputy Chairman Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures, Nigeria and PDP Governorship Candidate, Delta State, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary on Sunday.
In a statement by the leader of the house, Rt Hon. Peter O. Aragbata, Rt Hon. Kingsley Ese Onojighofia, Deputy leader and other principal officers, Hon. (Barr.) Ramsey Okoro, Majority leader, Hon. Caleb Afoh, Deputy Majority leader, Hon. Sodje Ufuoma, Chief Whip, Hon. Josephine Adarighofua, Deputy chief whip, Hon. Faith Chanai, said the house has joined the people of Okpe kingdom, family and friends to celebrate the birth of their leader.

The leadership of the Okpe legislative arm while congratulating Mr. Speaker for emerging as the governorship candidate of the party at the just concluded primary election of the party, described Oborevwori as an exceptional leader who at all times provided quality leadership for the state legislature in ensuring that there is harmonious atmosphere for debates and exchange of ideas for the development of the state.
The house said the Speaker and Delta state Peoples Democratic Party PDP Governorship candidate has proved himself a worthy illustrious son of Okpe considering his attributes of selflessness, maturity and friendliness in sustaining the relationship between the Executive and the Legislative arm, mostly in the passage of bills that has impacted positively in the lives of all Deltans.
The Okpe Council lawmakers on behalf of their families, the good people of Okpe kingdom celebrate with their own and the number three citizen of Delta state, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori on this auspicious occasion of his birthday anniversary today June 19, 2022.
