The Executive Chairman, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta state, Hon. (Pharm) Victor Ofobrukueta, weekend, applauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for engaging Julius Berger in the construction of roads in Delta state.

The council boss Hon. Ofobrukueta who gave the commendation in Asaba, headquarters of Delta state while speaking to newsmen, said the decision of the state governor to award roads in Delta to a certified construction company like Julius Berger is a clear indication that the governor wants the best for the state.

Ofobrukueta who said he was not surprised about the governor’s choice of Julius Berger Construction Company, explained that the governor is a man that believes in high quality and standard jobs, expressing confidence that Delta state will no doubt experience massive development in this new administration.

While commending the governor on the commissioning of several projects to mark his just 100 days in office, Ofobrukueta said it is obvious that the meal that will satisfy a man is always known through the eyes, saying that the choice of Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Obororevwori by Delta PDP as governor of Delta state was a decision taken in the right direction.

Speaking further, Ofobrukueta said, “I cannot just imagine how Delta roads will look like in the next one and half years, having Julius Berger as the contractor to handle our roads. This is talk and do governor and we are happy as we look forward to seeing another new face of Delta soonest. No wonder he said during his inauguration as governor that he will give attention to Warri and that he has started.

While appealing to all Deltans to support the Governor Oborevwori’s administration in ensuring that he delivers dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of all Deltans, Ofobrukueta said he could imagine massive development coming from this administration through the MORE Agenda to the state.
