Fast-rising Nollywood actress, Ms. Omoyemi Opoosun Olanrewaju, has asked actors and actresses in Nigeria not to insulate themselves from the challenges of insecurity, kidnappings, banditry and similar incidents plaguing Nigeria.
The actress who’s popularly known as Opoosun, charged her colleagues to be mindful of the challenges that come with the profession at this particular time, as some filming is done in remote places with less security.
“Recently, some of our colleagues were kidnapped. We are happy they were released. The point must be made that most of our locations are in the bush.
“The epic films are mainly traditional films and we often go to the country sides to shoot such films”, Opoosun emphasized
Opoosun, who is a graduate of Lagos State Polytechnic, stars mainly in Yoruba films.
She has acted in the following movies: ‘Aipasaye’, ‘Mobolenle’, ‘Omo sansan’, ‘Ajoji laafin’, and ‘Ajarat’.
