Six hundred and seventy-five new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Nigeria on Monday with seven new deaths in the past 24 hours.
The latest figures brought the country’s total Covid-19 cases to 20,919 confirmed.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Monday night.
The breakdown of the new cases showed that Lagos had the highest number with 288 cases. This brings the state total tally to 8,864 confirmed.
Others are, Oyo-76, Rivers-56, Delta-31, Ebonyi-30, Gombe-28, Ondo-20, Kaduna-20, Kwara-20,Ogun-17 and FCT-16.
Edo also recorded 13 fresh cases, Abia-10, Nasarawa-9, Imo-9.
Bayelsa, Borno, and Katsina also recorded eight new cases with Sokoto-3,Bauchi-3 and Plateau-2.
NCDC also reported that 7,109 patients have been discharge after successful treatment.
