An international cultural Ambassador, Isaac Izoya has again, through his global organization, Ehizoya Golden Entertainment (EGE) drawn attention to Nigeria’s quest for development with the production of a Cinema bound movie- “You can run but can’t hide”.
The wave-making first -of-its kind Movie, “You can run but can’t hide” is a classic fusion of African and western culture. It is an artistic reenactment of the trials and triumphs revolving around Africa’s quest to metarphorse into second if not the first World.
In a footage made available to ExpressDay Newspaper, popular Thespian Francis Agodye(I go die) carves a niche for himself in a scintillating performance alongside a beautiful and effulgent white Lady, Gamze Idrem.
As camera opens on an architectural masterpiece of a House, “I go die” walks into shot and while struggling to gain entry, Idrem vocalizes ” who is that ? Come in”
To this, the African Actor/Comedian says, “Ha I dey talk, computer dey answer me”. The next moment, a door opens on its own and a white Lady (Gamze Idrem) questions the rationale behind the coming of the “uninvited guest”.
With the following words, a bemused “I go die” explains his coming into the house the way he did:
“Osadolor and I are good friends. We are just like sim card and phone. I’m just from Africa now…”
“You certainly would not want to miss watching this film in the Cinemas. The scripting is deft. The interpretation is proficient. The technological embellishment is superb”, Ambassador Isaac Izoya enthused.
Commenting on the gains of “You can run but can’t hide”, a Traditional Ruler, the Okwiigikugbe of Iyuku, Etsako-West local government area(LGA) of Edo State, Chief Ilegieuno Bawakson Zakariyau, commended the entertainment company for remaining focused and dedicated to the exportation of “Nigerian, nay African culture to the rest of the world”.
In a buoyant display of cultural enthusiasm, the monarch urged the federal government to promote cultural reorientation even as a way of drawing foreign direct investment.
“I’ve seen the footage. The film is scintillating. The producer has done a fantastic job. As a custodian of the culture of my people, I tell government that the best way to attract foreign direct investment is to showcase the way of life of our various tribes across Nigeria and Africa”,
ExpressDay had earlier reported that this new film is hitting the Cinemas from November 30, 2024 in furtherance of the mantra of Ehizoya Golden Entertainment-the show must go on!
