An Abuja-based businessman and Managing Director of AC Don Chris Investment and Supply Services Limited, Chief Christopher Itebalumhen Akuewanbhor, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for making CG Adewale Bashir Adeniyi, MFR the acting Comptroller General of the Nigerian Customs Service, (NCS).
Akuewanbhor described the appointment “a big boost to the organization and the Nigerian business environment”.
Speaking in a chat with ExpressDay in Abuja, Chief Akuewanbhor noted that whereas he is not an APC member, he is a patriotic Citizen who believes in the creation of the enabling environment for businesses and investments to thrive saying that CG Adewale Bashir Adeniyi will steer the economy towards that direction through the Customs Service.
“I’m not a member of the rulling party but I like the making of Adewale Adeniyi the new Customs Boss. I think he is a round peg in a round hole and the business environment will soon receive a boost other variables being equal he said.
This newspaper’s investigation reveal that Adeniyi is the Vice President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and was for a long time the image maker of the NCS.
He is also said to be a result-oroented manager of men and materials.
