
Embattled Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Nasarawa, Ahmed Tijani Aliyu, has been finally removed from his position by the State Governor, Abdullahi Sule.
Tijani who was probed by the State House of Assembly over misappropriation of N248 million earmarked for the renovation of schools in the State.
Thereafter, the House advised the state Governor to remove him from office.
A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Government House and made available to journalists on Monday evening, directed that the SSG to hand over to the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs and Special Service all government property in his possession with immediate effect.
The governor appreciated the SSG for his service to the administration and wished him well in his future endeavours.
