
Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has released the sum of N10 million to support the burial of the victims of the Isanlu robbery attacks on a police station and bank, which claimed about 10 lives.
Dare-devil armed robbers stormed Isanlu Police station and a commercial bank in Yagba East LGA of Kogi State on June 10, 2020, and killed several people including eight police officers.
Represented by his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, the governor consoled the families of those who lost their loved ones in the ugly incidents.
He disclosed that plans had been concluded to rebuild Isanlu Police Station, which according to him, would boost the confidence of the Police for proper policing of the community.
Present at the presentation ceremony was the Commissioner of Police, Kogi State, Ayuba Ede, who received the monetary support on behalf of the police families.
