President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday held a meeting with 36 State Governors, at the State House, Abuja.

The meeting is said to be connected with the security challenges in the country.

The meeting followed from the resolve of the Governors at their last meeting in Abuja last week, to meet with the President in the wake of the killing of over 43 rice farmers in Borno State.

The Governors also meant to address the President on the need to resolve the other lingering security challenges across the country.

Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) and Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, had in a communique made available to press then said they had also resolved to support the necessary reforms that will result in a police force that works for all.
