The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has finally declared the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof. Charles Soludo, as the winner of the Anambra State governorship election.
The Returning Officer of the election, Professor Florence Obi, announced Soludo as the winner of the keenly contested election which lasted three days due to several hitches at exactly 1.51 am on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.
According to Prof. Obi, the APGA candidate polled a total vote of 112, 229 to beat his closest rival and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, who polled 5,3807.
Sen. Andy Uba of the All Progressive Congress (APC) came third with 43285 votes.
