The Chairman Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Mohammed Eyimoga, says that his administration has executed projects that have direct impact on the lives of people of the area more than his predecessors.
He made the revelation on Friday, during the third day prayer on the demised of a former Development Area Overseer, who died from a ghastly motor accident at Riyom, in plateau state, recently.
Eyimoga explained that since he assumed office, he was able to venture into projects that his predecessors avoided.
According to him: “The fencing of the secretariat which was estimated to require millions of naira which was avoided by past chairmen of the council, has since been fenced by his administration.
“If you go to Daddere Development Area, the secretariat is wearing a befitting look, whereas in the past, it was the worst place for any responsible civil servant to work in.
“Another area where my administration has impacted on the people positively is at Jankwe, where a bridge that connect some communities was abandoned, but today the people are happy that we have put in funds and the bridge is now motorable,” he said.
He, further, noted that in Obi Local Government Area, the usual farmer and herders feud has been laid to rest.
