Unknown gunmen have set ablaze the country home of President-General of the apex Igbo social cultural organisation, Ohanaeze, Professor George Obiozor.
Obiozor is also Nigeria’s former ambassador to the United States of America and Israel.
It has not ascertained exactly those behind the attack or the motive. It was however gathered that the elder statesman is currently abroad on medical vacation.
Prof Obiozor hails from Omuma, Oru East local government of Imo State.
Omuma is also the community of Imo State governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
The governor’s country home was also set ablaze sometime last year.
