Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has vowed to ensure that all abandoned projects inherited by his administration would be completed.
The Governor made this known at Gudi, his country home, on Sunday.
According to him, as part of his administration’s policy, projects that were initiated by past administrations regardless of who was the initiator, will be completed for the benefit of the people.
“I have no doubt in my mind on such projects because they were funded with the state resources with the aim of developing the state.
“And as a government that is responsive and accountable to the people, we will not promote wastage, but work towards completing all the projects,” Governor Sule said.
While suing for peace and understanding of all citizens, he urged residents of the state to support the President Muhammadu Buhari- led administration.
He reiterated that it was only through living in peace and unity that development could thrive in any society.
Engr. Sule, therefore, called on leaders at all levels in the state to continue to sustain the already existing peace by giving the security agencies the needed cooperation, especially, during this period of the Covid-19.
