Gov. Akeredolu of Ondo State has died in a Germany hospital at the age of 67.
It was learnt that he was managed by private hospital in Lagos before he was flown abroad about two days ago.
He returned to Nigeria in September following a three-month medical leave in Germany. He reportedly suffered from leukemia and prostate cancer.
Just less than two weeks ago, he had to go on another medical leave after a political turmoil that saw him forced to hand over power to his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, after intervention of President Bola Tinubu.
