By Balarabe Oshiafi

He was bubbling with zest for life as a grassroot politician in his part of Kaduna State. He was sure footed and fraternized with knowledge acquisition and transference. He was focused on doing exploits in his nativity in Southern Kaduna nay Nigeria and generally using his opportunities to better the lot of the people of the Society. But alas, on Wednesday, October 26, 2020, he was gone!

Kwasu Ayok was born into the family of Mr. Ayok Bakut in Zango Kataf Local Government Area (LGA) of Kaduna State in 1978.

He acquired his secondary school education from 1991 to 1997. He obtained his B.Sc From Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria from 2005 to 2008 where he studied Local Government and Development Studies. He did his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at Ibadan, Oyo State from 2009 to 2010.

He again returned to ABU for further studies and obtained his Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) in 2013.

Between 2011 and 2014, the late Kwasu Ayok worked for the Accounting Department of Zango Kataf LGA.

He was a political aspirant for the position of councilor of Gora Ward in the year 2015. Apart from political aspirations, Ayok was a versatile Community Youth Leader and Farmer as ExpressDay learnt.

Although his friends and loved ones are still too overwhelmed by what many of them call “his premature death” that they are reluctant to speak his Crony Barrister Adamu Jonathan said, “He was a poultry and other livestock Farmer He was also into cash crop farming”.

Late Kwasu Ayok was able to achieve some of the projects he wanted which includes; a modern football viewing center, provision shops and other project for his family.

He was a lively, respectful, loving and caring person to his immediate family, friends and other relations as many of his people attested to.

As loved ones mark the two years anniversary of the transition to the great beyond of Kwasu Ayok their prayer is that God grant his Soul mercy and admit him into Paradise. Adieu Kwasu Ayok.

    You are missed so dearly…
Life isn’t the same without you!
    You came, saw and conquered
Keep resting in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ!
