Finally, Buhari wears face mask

President Muhammadu Buhari arrived Bamako, Republic of Mali on Thursday wearing a face mask.

It was the first time the President had put on a mask since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

While it had been mandatory for everyone around the president to wear it, Buhari himself had not been seen with one until Thursday.

He was on a one-day visit to Mali on the auspices of the ECOWAS peace initiative in the crisis-torn country.

It was also the first time he would be embarking on a trip outside the country since the outbreak.
