FCT police vows to halt banditry, criminal elements in FCT borders

Concerned by the state of insecurity in the country, the Commissioner of Police (CP) in charge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Bala Ciroma, has mapped out strategies to curb banditry and  criminal activities, particularly on the borders of the territory, a statement by Command Spokesperson, Yusuf Mariam, has revealed.
The CP however, assured that his command is ready to protect lives and property of residents of the FCT.
“The CP has deployed overt and covert strategies to curb banditry and  criminal activities particularly on the borders of the territory.
“In addition, the Commissioner of Police has launched an advance collaborative approach to address the security concerns,” the statement noted.
The Command, therefore, stressed that “we wish to reaffirm our undeterred resolve towards the protection of lives and property within the Federal Capital Territory.  
“The Command implores residents of the FCT to report all suspicious movements, emergency or distress, through 08032003913, 08061581938, 07057337653,08028940883.
