Detectives attached to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command have arrested three suspects in connections with visa racketeering.
They are said to be members of a visa syndicate operating in Abuja, FCT.
The three suspects include Eze Francisca Eze ‘f’ 34 years, Onuh Christian Chika ‘m’, 36 years and Markus Innocent ‘m’ (the business centre operator) 24 years.
A statement by FCT Command Spokesman, Manzah Anjuguri, revealed that the suspects were arrested following a tip-off at a plaza in Nyanya, a suburb near the capital city centre.
The statement disclosed that the suspects were arrested while photocopying some forged documents.
“The suspects were arrested in possession of some forged documents including medical certificate, bank statements, NYSC certificates, university transcript, etc.” the statement noted.
They will be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of investigation, the police said.
