Former Kogi State Deputy Governor, Elder Simon Achuba, has felicitated with Muslim faithful on this year’s celebration of Eid-el-Maulud.
Achuba, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Akor Sylvester, urged Muslims across the country to pray for the unity and continued peaceful coexistence of the country.
He said that at this trying moment of the country, Nigerians should seek the face of God at all times in ensuring lasting stability of the country.
The former Deputy Governor said with continuous prayers and tolerance, Nigerians would overcome the present challenges confronting the nation.
He further urged Nigerians not to lose hope, adding that all will be well in Nigeria with intense prayers and supplication to God.
To, the youth, the former Deputy Governor enjoined them to embrace peace in presenting their positions to the leaders both at the federal and the state levels, saying it was their right to demand for a better Nigeria.
While wishing Muslims, especially in Kogi State a peaceful and pleasant celebration, the former Deputy Governor urged them to be security conscious and also remember the poor.
