As Muslims celebrate Ramadan amidst the Covid-1919 pandemic ravaging the world, Delta born philanthropist and frontline aspirant for the Ughelli North Council Chairman, Chief Scott Udu, has called on Nigerians to show compassion to one another.

Scott gave this charge in his felicitation message to Muslims in Ughelli North Local Government Area and Nigeria at large as he urged Nigerians to use this opportunity to pray to Allah for quick intervention against Covid-19 pandemic ravishing the world and Nigeria in particular.

Udu charged the citizens of Ughelli North on unity of purpose, stated that this is the time to stand up for each other and to reflect on the lessons from the holy month of Ramadan.

According to him, “this is a test for oneness as a nation in view of the current health challenge facing the country today and if we must conquer this plaque we must do it together.

“Eid-el-Fitr encourages Muslims to reflect on themselves and bridging the gap between Muslims and Allah; an occasion to that rekindle our zeal to serve humanity by showing love to one another.

“I join our Muslim brothers and sisters to pray to Allah to save us from this pandemic and restore our economic”, he stated.
