Just like Nigerian Music has done, the emerging movie industry in Nigeria otherwise called Nollywood is set to occupy the same echelon with Hollywood and Bollywood going by the template Ehizoya Golden Entertainment (EGE) is establishing with this year’s film festival and awards in Germany and Europe as Expressday has exclusively gathered.
Tagged Nollywood film festival and awards Germany and Nollywood Europe Golden Awards 2024, the “top notch, spectacular and epoch-making show” will take place in Goethe Universitat, Frankfurt, Germany on the August 2 and 3, 2024.
Expressday investigations reveal that submission of entries for currently going on.
Talking about the festival in a telephone interview with this Reporter, star Actress and Nigerian Coordinator, Cynthia Agholor disclosed that this is the 9th edition and it promises to put the emerging movie industry on an echelon that will make it enviable even to Hollywood and Bollywood.
“This edition will be spectacular, epoch-making and will bring resounding success to Nollywood such that it will become as acceptable as our music on the global scene”, she enthused.
Frankfurt based entertainment tycoon and cultural ambassador, Isaac Izoya is the chief executive officer of EGE.
