The Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) national caretaker committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State and the chairman of the Edo State APC gubernatorial election campaign council, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, today met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Villa.
The meeting is apparently convened for them to give the President a report of the Edo governorship poll at the weekend, which the APC lost to rival Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Both Governors met with the President behind closed doors in his office, and did not speak to the press afterwards.
The governors instead were observed to have left the President’s office using an unusual route to deliberately avoid State House reporters.
