A lawyer and one of the chairmanship aspirants in Etsako-West local government area of Edo State, Noble Okhidemeh has paid an “impressive” maiden visit to APC chairmen of wards in Avhiele clan.
Receiving the aspirant in Agbede on Monday the ward executives averred that Okhidemeh is the first of the aspirants to visit them and as such, has endeared himself to them.
Ahmed Badamasi, the chairman of ward 7, said, ” We are happy to receive you and your visit has given you a competitive edge because you are the first of the aspirants to visit us”.
He further said, ” Because of this visit, we are going to take your matter very seriously and we urge you to work hard at what you want . You will need to visit us again and maintain impressive presentation even with our leaders”.
Earlier, Okhidemeh had rationalized his entry into the race and into politics and intervening in several pro-people cases with his legal practice.
While taking the audience down memory lane, he said, ” I’m in this race because I’m well grounded in the politics of this area and I want to use my experience as a lawyer to harness the abundant human and material resources in this area for the benefit our people”.
The visit ended with the ward executives praying for a peaceful electioneering campaigns in the local government area and the success of the aspirant at the polls.
