Officers of the Department of State Services (DSS) has rearrested suspended Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Godwin Emefiele after he was granted bail by a court in Lagos.
Before his rearrest, DSS operatives had clashed with prison Wardens who were there to take custody of Mr. Emefiele as directed by the Court’s judge.
Justice Nicolas Oweibo, had granted Emefiele bail in the sum of N20 million and a surety in like sum.
The judge had also signed a warrant for his remand at Ikoyi prison, Lagos, pending when he perfects his bail.
