Much talked about upcoming Nigerian movie, ‘Drowning Soul’, will spice up cinema houses nationwide this December, ExpressDay has learnt.
Teju Agunlejika, the movie producer who also played the role of Angela in the film, said Drowning Soul highlights the ills of depression and seeks to proffer solutions to it.
According to her, “the movie is about a woman (Bisi) that is facing depression due to her giving birth to stillborns anytime she wants to deliver a child.
‘Her friend, Angela (Teju Agunlejika) introduces her to a physician for help because he (the Physician) had helped Angela solve her own problem through hypnosis.
“But the doctor (Ricardo Agbor) has ulterior motives for Bisi which provokes a lot of crisis.”
Drowning Soul is star-studded and parades Sola Kosoko, Ricardo Agbor, Yemi Solade, Tony Akposheri and Teju Agunlejika, who doubles as Assistant Director.
