The Chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Delta State Chapter, Bishop Kingsley Enakirhire has blamed Nigeria problems on “visionless leadership”.
Enakirhire stated this while reacting to the stay at home order given by the State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as part of effort to curb the spread of the dreaded Coronavirus.
He held that “the problem facing the country is visionless leadership who has no future plans for the people”.
According to him, “if America can be crying and wailing for this pandemic which they are alleging that is caused by China, then who are we Nigerians to flout instructions and orders to prevent the spread of the disease?
The PFN leader who was so sobered by the pains and problems of the country affirmed noted that “the problem facing the country is lack of vision by our leaders. They have no future plans for the people he said.
“Nigeria is blessed by God. We are more talented than China. We have the knowledge but our leaders have failed to applied this knowledge.
“Why do you think China is today a leading nation in the world economy? It is because their leaders have vision and have laid the foundation for the future generations.
“If our leaders are right thinking people, the first thing to be done is to tackle the power problem. Dedicate the entire revenue for that year to fixing this problem because without electricity, no production can take place”, he exclaimed.
The charismatic preacher, however, lamented the extent to which past and present leadership has neglected the power sector, which he described as a leading means of development.
The Pentecostal Bishop noted that the coronavirus epidemic is a signal to the whole world that God is still the ultimate.
In his words: “Days of sorrows, sickness, hardship and pains are ahead if the world failed to recognised him as God. God has destroyed the world with water ones and he never said he will destroy it with virus, but the second destruction will be with fire”.
