The Chairmanship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ethiope East local government area in the March 6, 2021, Delta state local government election, Hon. Victor Ofobrukueta, has appealed to the people to vote en masse for PDP, assuring them of all inclusive government.
Hon. Ofobrukueta, who spoke to journalists at Isiokolo, headquarters of the local government, said all campaign promises will be accomplished if given the mandate as the Council Chairman of Ethiope East local government area in the forthcoming election.
Ofobrukueta, a former Leader of the Ethiope East Legislative Arm,
called for peace in the Saturday’s election as the people come out to exercise their franchise.
He said the victory of PDP is a continuation and to further complement the Sen. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa’s Smart Agenda across the wards of the local government, adding that the party will continue to exercise its role in bringing dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroots.
The Chairmanship candidate has called on units and wards across the local government to exercise their franchise in a democratic manner with a view to voting the winning party, PDP in both Chairmanship and Councilorship Candidates for a united and purposeful government.
He further urged all Ethiope East people to turn out in their numbers to vote the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP on Saturday election, saying that a vote for PDP is a vote for infrastructure and purposeful development in the local government area.
Ofobrukueta who commended all the leaders of the party for their efforts and commitment towards the Saturday’s election, appealed to all party faithful, mostly the youths to work in the direction of their leaders and garner support for the ruling PDP party to serve and to turn Ethiope East to an enviable local government.
Speaking further, he said, “Ethiope East is one, and I know that with the calibre of personalities, l have the confidence that PDP will be victorious at the end of the election, so it is my appeal that we should all work together to change the face of the local government by casting your vote for PDP”.
