
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ethiope East LGA of Delta State, Olorogun Mudiaga Ejovi has commended the state governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for the distribution of the palliatives across the state.
Chief Ejovi, the Eboh of Agbon Kingdom gave this commendation in Isiokolo, the headquarters of Ethiope East LGA, while speaking to newsmen on the need to stay at home.
According to him, “l commended Governor Okowa for his initiative over the palliative, and my advice for the people of Ethiope East is to ensure that the palliative shared to Ethiope East are equitably distributed”.
Speaking further, the grassroots politician also described Governor Okowa led administration as a true test of democracy, calling on the people of Ethiope East to bear with the state government on the directive for the purpose of curtailing the spread of Covid-19.
He stated that the two weeks extension of the stay at home order by the state government is necessary for the purpose of the health of citizens.
According to him, the two weeks extension order by the state government is not to affect the people but is to ensure the neccsary step by the State government to prevent the spread of the dreaded corona-virus.
Chief Ejovi recently distributed food stuff to vulnerable persons across Ethiope East LGA, so as to cushion the effect of the stay at home order by the state government.
