President Muhammadu Buhari’s daughter has reunited with family members after ending a 14-day isolation at home since returning from the United Kingdom.
She went into self-isolation to prevent possible spread of the Coronavirus disease, in case she had contracted it.
However, her mother, First Lady Aisha Buhari, announced on her Twitter handle on Thursday night that her daughter was out of isolation, but gave no details of whether she underwent any tests and what the result was.
She wrote: “It is a thing of joy & gratitude to Almighty God to reunite with my daughter after she had been in isolation for 14 days immediately she landed in Nigeria. While I’m wishing all those infected for a speedy recovery, I pray for the end of this pandemic.”
She attached a picture of her hugging her daughter in the tweet.
