President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation today at 8pm, obviously to update Nigerians on the Coronavirus pandemic.
A statement issued by his office advised television, radio and other electronic media stations to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast.
Today marks the end of the second two-week lockdown he ordered on Lagos and Ogun States, as well as the Federal Capital Territory as part of measures to check the spread of the disease in the country.
State Governors have recommended to him to ease intra-state movement while interstate borders are locked, except for essential services.
They argue that this will ease the economic constraints suffered by Nigerians as a result of the lockdown.
Others have however, warned that easing the lockdown is not the best for now, as number of infections for Covid-19 continue to rise.
