An unprecedented 204 new cases of COVID-19 were reported across Nigeria by the end of Thursday.
These bring the nationwide total figure of infections to 1,932.
Kano State recorded the highest number of new infections with 80, followed by Lagos with 45.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) announced the new cases as follows:

“As at April 30 2020, 34 states and the FCT have recorded at least one confirmed case of #COVID19
”71% of all cases are from three states”.
Lagos and Kano States, as well as the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, have the highest number of overall cases.
