The Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, Dr. Michael Tidi has appealed to residents in thecouncil area not to doubt the reality of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr. Tidi, made the appeal on Thursday in a statement following confirmation of five new Coronavirus positive cases in the state, with four in Warri South Local Government Area.
He opined that as the commercial and industrial nerve centre of the State, Warri is visited daily by different shades of people for sundry reasons, hence the need for for the Council to give the Covid-19 fight the seriousness it deserved.
The Chairman further stressed the importance of practicing coronavirus preventive measures such as personal hygiene, compulsory of face masks, physical social distancing and eating of food that boost the body immune system.
