CAN chairman tests positive to Covid-19

The Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Adamawa State Chapter, Bishop Dami Manza, has tested positive Covid-19.

Bishop Manza who is also the Catholic Arch Bishop of Yola Diocese is a member of Adamawa state Covid-19  containment Committee.

He went into isolation immediately his positive status was made known to him.

On his personal Twitter handle, Bishop Manza reiterated that testing positive to Corona virus was not a death sentence.

He, therefore, urged people to pray for him and all who tested positive to the virus.

The Bishop called on the public to take Covid-19 preventive protocols seriously in order to help halt the spread of the pandemic.

According to him,  in compliance with Covid-19 protocols, he went into self-isolation and have already started treatment.

Findings indicated that Adamawa state now has a recorded 206 confirmed cases of the virus with 32 active cases undergoing treatment. 159 of the cases have been discharged while 15 died of the complications relates to the virus.
