Second Republic Governor of old Kaduna State, Balarabe Musa, is dead. He was 84 years old.
Senator Shehu Sani announced this on Wednesday on his Twitter account.
“Alhaji Balarabe Musa has died. May Allah forgive his soul and grant him Aljanna firdausi. Amin,” the former Kaduna Central Senatorial District senator tweeted.
Balarabe, was the first Governor in the history of Nigeria to be impeached.
His burial has been planned for later today according to Islamic rites.
