As part of activities scheduled for inter agency formation combat platoon obstacle crossing competition 2023, Army Headquarters Garrison will between Tuesday and Wednesday this week conduct a battle simulation exercise at 7 Guards Battalion Obstacle course, Lungi Barracks, Maitama Abuja.
In a press release signed by the Acting Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, Lieutenant Colonel, Njideka Clara Agwu, and made available to ExpressDay, Nigerian Army stated that the exercise will involve “real time battle field simulations and activities.
“Accordingly, there would be large battle sounds that would be heard during the exercise which are in line with the training exercise.”
Lt Col Agwu while urging Expressday and other members of the fourth estate of the realm to disseminate this release generously, added that “consequently, members of the general public who reside around Asokoro, Maitama, AYA and environs are not to panic but go about their normal respective businesses as the battle sounds would not raise any security concern.
“Furthermore, all necessary safety measures have been put in place.”
