Set to make a remarkable difference in the Nigerian media space, seasoned journalist and media strategist, Mr. Samuel Ajayi popularly known as S.O, has launched a multi-million naira Pan-African online television, HQTV.
Ajayi, who has had over 25 years of experience in journalism, announced the launch of the television platform on Wednesday in Lagos.
Announcing the birth of the television platform, which has immediately hit the airwaves, on his Facebook page, to the delight of his numerous friends and fans, Ajayi noted; “Finally, the Dream Comes Through: HQTV Is Here.”
Speaking about the HQTV, the media/public relations consultant, said: “ The idea has been in the pipeline since early last year. And that dream was to set up an online TV that would be different from the pack.”
“In September this year, I informed my family here that “something was cooking”. That was when we took the bull by the horn and procured equipment for the take-off”.
Ajayi is one of the pioneers of brand and marketing journalism, writer, editor and strategic thinker, who understands the Nigerian corporate environment inside out.
The Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti graduate of English and Literary Studies, began his journalism sojourn in Lagos in 1998.
