The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has come down hard on Adanma Luke, the producer of the film that was being shot when John Paul Odonwodo, aka Jnr Pope, died in a boat mishap.
AGN said work on the movie must be suspended immediately and that actors should not act by the riverside until further notice.
A news release signed by AGN president, Emeka Rollas, a copy of which was made available to ExpressDay on Thursday, said: “No shoot on all locations on Thursday, April 11, 2024”.
According to the release, ‘Another Side of Life’ is the title of the movie that was being recorded when the unfortunate incident happened. AGN has also barred any of its members from featuring in the production forthwith.
“No actor is allowed to work with Adanma Luke until further notice and while we continue to search for the bodies of the remaining victims”, the AGN president said.
This newspaper ‘s investigations reveal that Jnr Pope was born in Cameroun in 1984 and has a Wife and three kids. He was a fast rising actor. He was also maverick and was widely followed on the internet.
