Abducted Katsina school boys freed

The students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State, abducted by Boko Haram terrorists, have been freed.

Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Bello Masari, confirmed this to CNN on Thursday night.

A total 344 students were reported to be on their way to the Government House from the hideout of their abductors.

The whereabouts of over 300 students have been unknown since Friday night when gunmen attacked the school.

Boko Haram later claimed responsibility for the incident.
